Quartz Countertops

Quartz countertops are a man-made engineered stone product comprised of quartz stone and resin. Since this product is so dense, it is extremely durable and is scratch resistant. Quartz is a non-porous material meaning it is stain resistant and does not harbor bacteria. It is also very low maintenance and easy to clean. Quartz countertops come in many different colors and styles.

Natural Stones

Natural stone countertops have been a very popular choice for many years due to their durability and unique styles. A few examples of natural stone countertops include granite, marble, and quartzite. These products do require more maintenance than Quartz.

Solid Surface Countertops

Solid surface countertops come a vast array of colors and styles and offer many of the same benefits as natural stone. Like quartz, solid surface countertops are non-porous so they do not harbor bacteria and are easy to clean. However, these countertops are softer than quartz or natural stone products and can be damaged by knife blades and extreme heat. One of the great benefits of solid surface countertops are that they can be molded anyway you like. This can allow you to integrate sinks and backsplashes into one slab removing seams that occur with natural stones, quartz, and laminate products.

Laminate Countertops

Laminate countertops are the most budget friendly and come in a wide variety of textures and colors. They are very easy to install and can be made with or without a backsplash. Laminate can scratch easily and are sensitive to high heat.
