Sam Kohlhagen
Sam is the undisputed center of gravity at Frontier Craftsmen. As owner, lead designer, and occasional miracle worker, he combines creativity, precision, and business instincts so sharp they probably should’ve required a permit. Armed with a Finance degree from UW–Whitewater and years of hands-on design, building, and installation experience, Sam doesn’t just set the standard for craftsmanship and quality—he quietly raises it and waits for the industry to catch up.
Emily Dhein
Emily recently joined Frontier Craftsmen as a Project Manager, overseeing each cabinetry project from start to finish to ensure a smooth process and exceptional results. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and being with friends.
Natalie Kohlhagen
Natalie oversees the finishing process for Frontier Craftsmen, from painting and staining to marketing and advertising. With a background in art and pastry, she brings creativity and precision to every detail. When she’s not in the shop, she enjoys homeschooling their two boys, Hugh and Graham.
Aaron Garrett
Aaron joined Frontier in 2023 and focuses on cabinet building. His passion for woodworking and creating makes each project deeply rewarding, as he loves transforming raw materials into functional, beautiful pieces. He lives in Sheboygan with his wife and two cats and enjoys exploring new woodworking projects and planning his next travel adventure.
Derek Yahnke
Derek specializes in technical design, CNC programming, and cabinet construction—bringing precision and craftsmanship to every project. He’s dedicated to helping clients turn their vision into reality and loves exploring new woodworking techniques and design ideas in his spare time.
Brian Leifer
With nearly 30 years in cabinetmaking and home construction, Brian brings deep experience and craftsmanship to every project. He and his wife live in Port Washington, where they raised their daughter. Outside of work, Brian enjoys fishing, photography, and cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers.
Cassie Gaskin
Cassie discovered her passion for craftsmanship and design in the Texas Hill Country, where she worked in sales, design, and remodeling. At Frontier, she collaborates with clients to bring custom cabinetry ideas to life while pursuing her degree in Interior Design. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Wisconsin’s trails and local coffee shops.
Annalise Borowski
Annalise recently joined Frontier Craftsmen as an Online Marketer, helping strengthen the company’s digital presence and bring creative ideas to life. A senior at Sheboygan Falls High School, she’s passionate about marketing, business, fitness, and community involvement.
