Sam Kohlhagen

Sam is the backbone, brain, and brilliance behind everything that happens here. As the owner, top salesman, lead designer, and master of all things cabinetry, Sam does what others can’t even begin to understand. He engineers, builds, finishes, and installs with such precision that tape measures tremble in his presence. A CNC operator by day, maintenance wizard by night—there’s no tool he can’t command and no system he can’t fix. With a bachelor’s degree in Finance (with a laser-focused emphasis on Business Planning) from UW–Whitewater, Sam not only runs the business—he is the business. Some say perfection doesn’t exist. Sam kindly disagrees.

Brian Leifer

Hi, I'm Brian.  I've been in the cabinet making and home construction industry for nearly 30 years. My wife and I live in Port Washington, where we raised our now 23-year-old old daughter who lives in Fort Worth. When I'm not working, I enjoy fishing, photography, and cheering for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Annalise Borowski

Hello! My name is Annalise. I have recently joined the frontier Craftsmen team as an online Marketer. I am here to bring ideas to life, giving frontier craftsmen a Strong online presence. I attend Sheboygan Falls High school as a senior, constantly building my marketing and business knowledge. Outside of work, you can find me in the gym and volunteering in the community!

Natalie Kohlhagen

Hi, I’m Natalie! I manage the finishing process for our cabinetry, including painting and staining, and also handle our marketing, and advertising. With a background in both art and pastry, this role suits me perfectly. When I’m not working, I’m home homeschooling our two boys—Hugh (13) and Graham (10).

Aaron Garrett

Hey! I’m Aaron. i started at Frontier in august of 2023 and primarily focus on cabinet building. i’ve always had a passion for woodworking and creating, and being able to do what i love every day in incredibly fulfilling. it’s amazing to see raw material transform into beautiful, functional pieces. i live in sheboygan with my wife and two cats. when i’m not working, you’ll most likely find me in my workshop, continuing to explore new woodworking projects, or planning my next travel adventure.

Derek Yahnke

Hi. I’m Derek. I’m passionate about bringing precision and craftsmanship to every project i work on. my focus is on technical design, CNC programming/operation and cabinet construction. i am dedicated to creating high-quality cabinetry for our customers to help them turn their vision into reality. when i’m not working, i enjoy woodworking as a hobby, constantly learning new methods and exploring fresh design ideas.

Cassie Gaskin

Hello! My name is Cassie! I found my passion for craftsmanship and design 5 years ago down in the Texas Hill Country where I worked as a sales and design consultant and remodel apprentice. Here at Frontier, I dedicate my time collaborating with clients and exploring custom design ideas that can be brought to life! I am also currently pursuing my degree in Interior Design! Still new to Wisconsin, I spend my free time exploring nature trails with friends and family and indulging in local coffee shops.
